Step into the world of Margaret Mitchell’s classic novel and the sweeping romance of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara. The museum combines the real history of the Civil War’s Atlanta Campaign and the 1864 Battle of Jonesboro along with both Hollywood’s and Margaret Mitchell’s versions of Gone With the Wind. See reproductions of Scarlett’s most famous dresses, items from the 1939 Atlanta movie premiere, and original movie props.
